摘要

The choice of crushing equipment is not easy task and mistakes are often taken. The normal practice to choice this kind of equipment is based on planned production level and stone sizes screen analysis furnished by crusher manufacturers. This procedure has sometimes resulted in wrong selection of equipment and commonly the plant does not work well, due to the inaccuracy and deviation that occurs in the production of crushed stones. This facts can originate many troubles in the mass balance and screening system producing irregular performance in the plant. The better sizing of crushing equipment by practical way and comparison between theoretical curve and actual curve of plant are focused here. This paper is a result of 51 months research on Riuma Quarry crushing plant where the discharge openings sets were kept constant, varying only the screen mesh to alternate the proportion of crushed stone products.
