Hydrogen utilization as fuel is receiving increased attention in view of the importance of emission pollutants in air, produced by various carbonaceous fuels. As alternative energy, it is the cleanest fuel and is also attractive for electric vehicle use (1). A more difficult issue facing the transition is onboard storage; it may influence the vehicle's cost, performance and fuel economy(2-3). Today four storage technologies are developed: compressed hydrogen gas at high pressure, lqiuefied hydrogen, metal hydrides and carbon sorption.
