摘要

The kharyaga to Uninsk Pipeline transports a number of different grades of crude that are injected into the pipeline at different feeding points forming a mixture of all grades of oilinvolved. A considerable number of the different grades of crudes ard high waxy with pour points up to 20deg C. In case of a pipeline shupdown the oil cools down and depending on the wax content crystallzation of the paraffincs at a critical temperature causes the entrie mass of crude oil to gel. If the sheer stress of the pipeline system, the restart of operation can become difficult or even impossible.
