A new Low-Reynolds-Number "k-#epsion#" turbulence model for prediction of heat and momentum transfer in turbulent shear layers developing under strong pressure gradient conditions is proposed. The model is a version of "k-#epsilon#" model recently proposed by Shih and Lumley, in which source terms of #epsilon#-equaton have been modified to account for pressure gradient effects. This modification resulted in considerably improved prediction of strongly decelerated turbulent boundary layers.
