Businesses need accurate and immediate information to make dependable decisions about virtually every process. This includes information about interactions with customers, suppliers, and among internal entities. Unfortunately, there are endless sources of information, each with multiple parameters and formats. Analyzing and interpreting each of these is an impossible task, even with the tremendous computing power available today and foreseeable for the near future. A method to identify the critical sources and determine how they can be used to improve business performance is critical. Automated Multi-Dimensional Information Collection (AMDIC) can provide this ability. This paper describes how to implement AMDIC and presents several case studies illustrating this implementation.
