摘要

We describe the use of discrete event simulation in modeling passenger movement through an airport terminal. The model was used to determine where and by how much to expand segments of the airport corridor in order to achieve the desired level of passenger service. We present our simulation methodology used in the Lambert - St. Louis International Airport Concourse C Expansion Study and share the issues and challenges we faced in this application.
