One of the most challenging business decisions is the task of selecting and implementing a new business or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. In order for this process to be successful you need to be aware of some Critical Success Factors. The risks encountered when selecting and implementing an integrated software solution are often misunderstood, unanticipated and very costly. This presentation will expose and explore the critical aspects of such a project that causes the most serious problems, explain how to recognize the warning signs, share tips and techniques for assuring success and opportunities for personal growth. These same factors are also appropriate for other types of software solutions or projects.
