Small package delivery companies depend on bar codes to ensure that the packages are properly sorted in their package hubs and are delivered on time. But what happens to the package when a bar code of low quality passes through the sortation process? Will it scan or will it have to be handled a second or third time until a valid read is attained by the sortation equipment.
