Mineralization of air bubbles in dynamic conditions has been investigated. It has been found that as the speed of collision between a particle and a bubble increases, the period of formation of a flotation aggregate is shortened, and the aggregate strength goes up. The mineralization conditions were implemented in a pulsating medium in which a bubble floats with a variable speed as a function of vibration frequency and amplitude. During pulsation, the average bubble speed increases, and the period of the bubble rise is shortened. These peculiarities of the separation process are taken advantage of in a new pneumatic pulsating flotation machine, which permits a substantial improvement in flotation parameters. Laboratory investigations were made with the support of the Russian Fundamental Research Fund.
