摘要

As a result of thermodynamic analysis of mineral-sodium oleate-water system, flotation and adsorption tests at various pH values and sodium oleate concentrations, it has been established that regularities of salt-like minerals (calcite, apatite, fluorite, barite and others) flotation can not be explained by the formation on their surface of alkali-earth metals oleate. The novel hypothesis, connecting optimal conditions for mineral flotation with zero charge of its surface, allowed to explain the regularity of mineral flotation observed and elaborate the quantitative physico-chemical models of their flotation suitable for improving of industrial processes and application in automatic plant control systems.
