A critical set of decisions for eCommerce managers is related to the establishment and maintenance of a strong brand. Online brands are created through the selection of a recognizable domain name, the use of a distinctive visual design, and the provision of unique online services. Various related strategic and legal considerations are discussed. Interesting domain name disputes and valuable managerial guidelines are presented.
