摘要

Direct oxidation of propane on a Ni/LSFCO-CGO electro-catalyst has been investigated at intermediate temperatures (800 °C) in a CGO electrolyte supported cell. The SOFC cell showed suitable power density and polarization resistance. Relatively low carbon deposits were observed on the catalyst surface after SOFC operation with practical propane flow rate. The achieved performance for propane oxidation was quite interesting even in the presence of a thick electrolyte membrane.
