The massive Internet evolution opens the fundamentally new capabilities of solving data management problems not only in order to drive various informational structures, but also for the needs of millions of people. Many of these problems are concerned with selection from alternatives using their descriptions. The use of combinatory logical approach, particularly, the λ-calculus apparatus, enables to coordinate formally notions of participants of alternative selection by descriptions. Thus, the circumstances are formed for automated alternative selection, which conforms to content-based psychological needs of potential users.
