摘要

To counter the serious soil erosion in HuaiLai area. Some measures including strawcovering, windbreak and protective net have been adopted. The paper analyzed the effect ofrestraining soil erosion by covering straw, the results shows that the soil quantity where thesoil’s surface is covered with nothing is much more than those covered by straw. The soilquantity can be reduced by 75.6% from 20 centimeter over the soil surface , by 51.7% from 110centimeter and by 50% from 200 centimeter . The windbreak can reduce the wind velocity by63% at 1 meter behind the windbreak and by 30% at 4 meter behind the windbreak. Resultsalso shows that the protective net proved effective both on defending the hail and reducing thesoil erosion. Through comparing the internal and external wind velocity , protective net canreduce the wind velocity by 50%.
