摘要

Three years results of yield mapping in cotton fields in Greece are reported in thispaper. Yield mapping was taken with a FARMSCAN equipment installed on a two row picker.The equipment performed satisfactorily with the proper care for settings and maintenance. Dataof soil properties using direct measurements (texture, chemical properties, and compaction) andsoil EC mapping by a VERIS machine were collected as well .Thematic maps were producedusing GIS software. Correlations between yield and soil properties were investigated usingSPSS software. The analysis revealed great yield spatial variability in all three years. Yieldzones can be produced which can be used as the basis for field management. Yield mapsproduced were well correlated to VERISmachine soil EC mapping as well as to other soilproperties like soil compaction.
