摘要

The design of a multi-agent system for integrated management of greenhouseproduction is described. The model supports the exchange of information and commands throughSMS. The main goal of the MAS is the integrated management of root-zone and aerial environmentof the cultivated plants, through the cooperative actions of software agents, which bargain at thesupervisory level. The poor performance of conventional systems when existing conditions lead toconflicting decisions of the control system, or irrational use of the resources can be drasticallyimproved by the ability of the MAS-GH system to allow “humanwise” perception and decisionprocesses in an easily reconfigurable environment. The system, with its SMS support, comprises anintelligent approach to greenhouse management, taking advantage of the current wirelesstechnologies.
