This article briefly introduces the characteristics of the MGIS, its system architecture, and the structure and function of its application levels, conceives the application of the MGIS to artillery fire, puts forward the auxiliary artillery firing system based on the MGIS, designs its system architecture, solves the problem of the great number of data in the designation of the system. Then it discusses the software implementation of the auxiliary artillery firing system, and analyzes the direction for the continuations of the system.
