In this paper, the optimum way of solar DHW and space heating system in mild climate area of Japan is described. The twenty five cases with the combinations of different tilt angle and azimuth of solar collector are examined. The detailed yearly round simulation of the twenty five cases and the base cases without solar heating were carried out using the simulation tool, EESLISM and the weather data of Tokyo. The simulation results show that the effect of the collector tilt angle and azimuth on the total system performance is rather small when the tilt angle are between 15 o to 60 o and azimuth is within 45 o from the south. The installation cost for fifteen years of pay back period is estimated to be 660,000 Yen. Whereas the simulated solar heating system is effective, cost down may be essential for the practical use of this system.
