In this paper, experimental studies were performed on an air source HPWH with phase change thermal energy. And a series of temperature curves of the PCM and supplying water were obtained while the heat giving up. The relation was analyzed among phase change material (PCM) temperature, condensing and evaporating temperature. The experimental results indicated that the temperature of PCM was continuous changing while heating or heat giving up and that the COP of HPWH with PCM was about 2.7~3.75 in summer.
