摘要

Based on recreation participation behavior theories, with college faculty's attitude towards campus recreation and sports associations, motive and participation frequency as indices, this study analyzes and discusses about the college faculty's participation behaviors in campus recreation and sports associations. This study has investigated 26 colleges and 497 faculties (male 288, female 209) in Taiwan. The research results indicate that: (1) people of lower age, and lower income have relatively lower recreation and sports perception, recreation and sports sense and overall recreation and sports attitude; (2) people of lower income belong to the group of relatively lower motive in participating in campus recreation and sports associations; Therefore, how to attract and maintain members to participate in association activities continuously becomes the key, and good activity planning, excellent interaction relationship are all ways to attract and maintain their participation. Thus, it is recommended to hold more campus faculty's physical education competitions to stimulate their participation willingness. In addition, competitions among different colleges can be used to reach the effect of friendship and exchange, and further to promote their participation frequency.
