This paper has done the quantitative analysis of the industrial linkage between high-tech sectors and traditional industries using the input-output method based on the 2002 I-O table of Hubei Province. This paper holds that the IT industry which mainly concludes information software sector and electronic communication sector has higher linkage degree with traditional industries in Hubei province. In the near future the information alteration course of traditional industries should be boosted actively; also the industrial amalgamation between traditional industries and high-tech sectors should be accelerated in order to promote the industrial structure adjustment and upgrading in Hubei province. Also the suggestions of policy-making have been given.

机译：本文采用基于湖北省2002年I-O表的投入产出法，对高新技术产业与传统产业之间的产业联系进行了定量分析。本文认为，以信息软件业和电子通信业为主的IT产业与湖北省传统产业的联系度较高。在不久的将来，应积极推动传统产业的信息变革进程。加快传统产业与高新技术产业的产业融合，促进湖北省产业结构的调整和升级。还提出了决策建议。
