摘要

In this paper possibilities for energy management with PV-Battery systems, especially load leveling atthe point of common coupling (PCC), are discussed. The use of additional storage devices, e.g. batteries, in a systemconsisting of a household load and a PV power plant can actively support the distribution power system. Dependingon the operation strategy, energy storage can be used to either achieve the highest possible independence from thepower utility, to shift most of the energy exchange with the network to the nighttime or, as discussed in this paper, tolimit the power exchanged with the power system. As a result of our investigation it can be shown in the paper thatwith proper dimensioning of the system parts, and with optimal parameter settings, peak shaving can be very reliablyapplied.
