Packet-switched networks on chip have been advocated as a natural communication mechanism among the processing cores in future chip multiprocessors (CMP).This paper proposes a design of concurrent multi-direction data switch structure CMDSS), which can be used as a switch in network on-chip. Three modules (MTS, fabric and scheduler) consisted in CMDSS are briefly described. We present a schedule algorithm called FG-NC used in designing the scheduler module of CMDSS. By the simulations based on SIM simulator, we find that FG-NC algorithm performs well in multicasts, especially in continuous same requests, and the combination of FGNC and 2-stage crossbar can perform not much worth than some unicast algorithms in fully connected crossbar.
