摘要

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), aramid and graphite have been traditionally employed as internal lubricants in polymer composites. In the present study, wear and friction behavior of PTFE, aramid and graphite filled polyamide 66 (PA66) composites have been investigated. The tribological characteristics in dry sliding conditions were studied at different pressure and velocity conditions. Different analytical techniques e.g IR-imaging, profilometry and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) were employed to study the correlation between the transfer layer and wear and friction properties at various pressures and velocities.
