During the mineral processing of pyrites sulphide ores of some deposits of Russia loss of gold with tailings and pyrite concentrates amounts up to 40%~90%.The problem of selective allocation of gold-bearing pyrite is crucial.There are 4 mineralogy-technological groups of pyrite determined in copper-zinc sulphide ores,based on the increase of contents of gold in pyrite.The gold associated with group 4 pyrite contents of 85% the total mass of gold found in the pyrite.The flotation behaviour of the enriched fractions of pyrite (98%),of the allocated from the ore of Gay deposit,were studied essentially in various conditions pH and the charge of Butyl xanthogenate of potassium (ButX).Some products of selective pyrite flotation were investigated by methods of scanning electronic microscopy,energy-dispersive and X-ray spectral microanalyses,definition of specific resistance and thermoelectric moving force.
