By applying the κ-ε-f-g model of turbulent diffusion flame, 3-D numerical simulation of the combustion in the pre-burning chamber and in the dome of Kaluginhot blast stove is carried out. The field of flow, temperature and components concentration distribution were obtained, and the shape of the flame in the dome was also gained. We draw some beneficial conclusions. The tangential velocity of inlet stream is important in Kaluginhot blast stove. The shape of the flame in the dome is associated with the different angel of tangential velocity and a suitable angel of tangential velocity was found. The results may provide reference for the use of top-combustion hot blast stove.
