Hydroelectricity is the most widely used form of renewable energy. With the extreme increasesin costs of fossil fuels, it is to a hydro electrical plants advantage that little to no fuel is requiredto produce electricity. With the demand of power constantly increasing renewable energy that islow cost efficient is also becoming more valued. In an effort to help hydropower plants toremain a steady contender as a renewable energy source, this paper aims to locate the efficiencyfrontier for dams to evaluate performance. Using Data Envelopment Analysis the study presentsefficiency scores to each of the seven dams and correlations.
