The objective of this study is to investigate the postgraduate dissertations being performed in the department of Civil Aviation Management in Turkey. In line with this objective, a total of 59 postgraduate dissertations that were listed in the dissertation center of the Higher Education Council (HEC) and performed in the department of civil aviation management were examined as full texts. The data were analyzed with the content analysis method and a situation determination was tried to be conducted according to the acquired findings. In this context, the dissertations being performed in the department of civil aviation management were classified according to some variables. The dissertations were evaluated in terms of the year in which they were published, as well as the method being used and data collection tools. As a result of the study findings, it was determined that there were changes in the number of dissertations according to years, majority of dissertations were qualitative, and either questionnaires or likert type scales were used.
