In order to study the forming condition of EFP under radial rotation, the numericalsimulation of typical explosively-formed projectile (EFP) charge structure in differentpositions and rotational speeds are completed by using the finite element simulationsoftware LS-DYNA. Simulation results are verified preliminarily by experiments. Resultsshow that the EFP formed under the radial rotation condition has the lateral deflectionspeed, and the shape is asymmetrical. When the tip of the EFP has horizontal diversion, thetail of the EFP has vertical diversion, and the infection of radial rotation is most seriously, while the rotation location is in the bottom with middle and the donated pointed rotationlocation followed. Research results also provide a good example for the study of EFP underthe radial rotation condition.
