The paper studies the problem of the common mean of several multivariate normal populitions when the covariance matrices are unknown and possibly unequal. The generalized p-values and generalized confidence region are derived by using the general class of unbiased estimates and the generalized p-values. Simulation shows the test methods are better with respect to their expected area and coverage probabilities.
