摘要

The paper focuses on a new contour extraction algorithm in the two-dimension Image independent on the image gradient. This algorithm build on the basis of Mumford-Shah function and level set function, completely different from the traditional algorithm relative to gray gradient, by which the image contours non-defined by gradient could also be successfully detected. In the end, some experiments will be carried out to show the results comparison between these two algorithms.
