摘要

Shallow gas,which is made up of methane mostly and mainly distributes in shallow sedimentary layer of the river mouth and the shelf waters,is a big hidden trouble to induce geologic hazard. We usually use two kinds of methods to proceed the geological investigation work of marine geological hazard,one is geophysical methods and the other one is geological sampling method. The geophysical methods used widely are depth measuring,side-scan sonar,sub-bottom profiler,signal channel high resolution seismic exploration method ,multiple-channels seismic exploration method and so on. This article analyses the geophysical characteristics of shallow gas on the seismic profiler and compares the effect of multichannel seismic exploration method and subbottom profiler in detecting the shallow gas with the data we have get from the Bohai Sea..
