Building up a set of wage distribution system that matches the private iron and steel enterprises' characteristics is the trend of the salary management development of the private iron and steel enterprises. This paper elaborated the basic idea of the performance wage system in detail, analyzed and discussed the necessity and possibility of the private iron and steel enterprises in implementing the performance wage system on the basis of the private iron and steel enterprises' distinct characteristics.
