based on coupled seepage and stress fields, given certain boundary conditions, according to Galerkin method, it got a mathematical model and simulated and analyzed the influence of the three factors on position of saturation line: length of dry beach, precipitation and anisotropy of the medium. The results got the conclusions: (1) in appropriate range, with the length of dry beach increasing, the seepage quantity will reduce in proportion;(2) if the infiltration coefficient is small, the seepage quantity will be no large variety in different precipitation conditions;(3) the seepage quantity increases gradually with the increase of anisotropy of the medium.
