Repressurization of the unsealed compartments on the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle's Crew Module during re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere has been examined. Compartment pressure time histories have been calculated and analyzed for two low Earth orbit and four lunar return trajectories using a venting model approach proven during the Titan IV program. Additionally, pressure time history sensitivities to the assumed vent discharge coefficient, compartment volumes, and inter-compartment vent areas have been quantified. Results presented show how these sensitivities affect the differential pressures on the structure which then feeds back to the design.
