Compared with computer network, mobile communication network has obvious advantages of time and space span, teaching research mode dominanted by mobile communication network is a beneficial attempt for proportionally improving the levels of teaching research for rural teachers in the new situation. Activity theory as one of the frame theory to understand and construct situational activity can provide important guides for the teaching research activities design. Based on the analysis of activity theory and the predicament of teaching research in rural areas, this paper discusses the features and principles of activity design of mobile teaching research for rural teachers.
