Due to benefits of fewer equipment, higher efficiency and less grid constraints, the demand of PV directly integrating into HVDC is arising and the study on DC/DC converter for PV is in need. In this paper, DC/DC converter topology interfaced into DC grid is reviewed, and a topology based on Boost-Full-Bridge-Isolated (BFBIC) and the architecture of modular Input-Parallel-Output-Serial are proposed. Soft switching characteristic of BFBIC is studied and a zero-voltage-switch (ZVS) strategy is proposed to improve converter efficiency. Feature of Natural-Current-Sharing-Voltage-Sharing (NCSVS) of the BFBIC is analyzed, and the stability criterion and the quantitative evaluation method of the NCSVS are given Finally, a 200kW ±10kV DC/DC grid-connected converter is developed for verifying the feasibility.
