With the third construction phase well advanced and due to be completed in 2010, the team continues to focus on best value, high quality and timely, safe delivery. There are many significant challenges to come; not least the threat of future storms and damage to the part completed works, the separate Pier Square and Grand Pier projects that will have to be accommodated in the contractor's programme and the yearly events such as the British Water-ski Championships and T4 on the Beach.
