After the eco-environment,the eco-protection need and the eco-compensation status were analyzed,the major field of eco-compensation was listed in Yellow River watershed.The ecological compensation key area was preliminary study; finally we give advice of compensation for watershed ecological to strengthen basic research and key areas of case study.
