The paper considers a strapdown inertial attitude reference system (SIARS) based on electrostatic gyros with solid rotors. The system in-flight calibration method is optimized using the ground tests. Preliminary estimates of drift model coefficients and misalignment angles between ESG and IMU frames are given. Results from ground calibration are presented.
