摘要

Our intent is to develop a system to allow deployed military voters to vote via the Internet. The system is to be equivalent to the absentee vote by mail system, without the problems that arise with physical mail. Therefore, the security of our system needs to be evaluated against the absentee process to ensure we meet current absentee security. Our goal is not to replace the current U.S. voting system, but to provide and online option for our deployed military. In this discussion we focus solely on the communication protocol with respect to the three requirements for voting security: 1. Vote Integrity: a vote should be protected against change, plus only one vote per validated voter.
