The advantage of PM fiber is clear based on these results. The Doppler shift of all three is similar under most conditions. However, when being moved, using PM fiber resulted in the lowest Doppler shift, and the most stable contrast ratio. The single mode fiber results in a significant Doppler shift, but the contrast ratio is more stable than the multimode fiber.
