Mangosteen is one of an important economic crop of Thailand, due to an increasing plantation area lead to an over supply production and very low market price during the production season because of an unpredictable annual production.Remote sensing and Geographic Information system were used as a tool to produce Mangosteen plantation map and Mangosteen production forecast in sub district level. The result proof that Remote sensing can use to separate Mangosteen from other crops, Geographic Information system in the combination with field survey and an interview data from the farmer can be used to forecast the Mangosteen production. The analyzed data can be used to forecast Mangosteen production.
