摘要

CityMobil is an Integrated Project in the 6th Framework Programme of the European Union. Theobjective of the project is to achieve a more effective organisation of urban transport, resulting in amore rational use of motorised traffic with less congestion and pollution, safer driving, a higherquality of living and an enhanced integration with spatial development. This objective is reached bydeveloping integrated traffic solutions: advanced concepts for innovative autonomous and automatedroad vehicles for passengers and goods, embedded in an advanced spatial setting. The project is splitin an R&D and a demonstration part. The main aim of the R&D part is to identify, address and wherepossible take away barriers that still block the large-scale implementation of automated transportsystems in urban traffic. The heart of the demonstration part is supporting three large scaleimplementations of automated transport systems in urban areas and organising a number of smallershowcases and demonstrations.CityMobil is a 5-years project that started in May 2006 and ended in December 2011. The resultshave been presented at a final conference in Brussels in December 2011. This paper provides anupdate of the paper presented in 2009 and includes an overview of the final CityMobil results.
