The problem of fault-tolerant controller design for a class of delayed uncertain systems with sensor faults is studied in this paper. It is shown that a solution for this problem can be obtained from robust model predictive control(RMPC). The sensor faults are presented as a more general and practical descrete fault model. Based on the linear matrix inequality method, sufficient conditions for the existence of RMPC fault-tolerant controller are given for the system. An iterative algorithm is developed to inhance performance of the control procedure. Simulation example shows the effectiveness of the controller.
