A large-scale foundation pit project with three basement floors is located at the northern bank of Qiantang River in Hangzhou.One side of the Project is adjacent to the street, the other three sides are close to the stacked landscape green space, and there are great changes of the surrounding natural terrace.Thus, the scheme consisting of few retaining forms (the line-up piles combined with strut or prestressed cables) used integrally is applied in retaining design pertinently.According to the field monitoring and construction conditions, the retaining design makes best use of different characteristics of the surrounding environment and adjusts measures to local conditions, and safety of the foundation pit itself and the surrounding environment is guaranteed.
