摘要

A new interferometry positioning and tracking method with short baseline for ultra-wideband (UWB) through-the-wall radar system is proposed in this paper. To improve the accuracy of two-dimensional positioning and tracking, the high-precision distance difference of the two receiving antennas is obtained by interferometry. The accurate two-dimensional position can be acquired by the trilateration with the distance difference and the distance of the first receiving channel obtained by the decentralized procedure. The algorithm performance has been experimentally validated in the through-the-wall environment and is much better than that of the decentralized procedure in terms of positioning accuracy and tracking errors.
