Development of synthesis gas production process for natural gas conversion

The synthesis gas (syngas) is a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, and the production of purified synthesis gas, which is suitable as a feed gas to produce clean liquid synthetic fuel in natural gas conversion reactor, is a major cost factor. Whether natural gas is used as raw material, syngas can account for up to about 70% of both the capital and operating cost. It is very important that the conversion of the syngas to hydrocarbon products in the synthetic fuel reactors is an efficient. In order to achieve the efficiency reactor, the syngas composition should match the usage ratio of the reactors. In this work, we investigate the development of synthesis gas production process in the Steam-CO_2 reforming (SCR) over Ni-La_2O_3 catalyst supported Ce-ZrO_2/Al_2O_3. And we developed the kinetics model for SCR used by the profiles of concentration and temperature is the SCR reactor.
