Functional Safety Analysis for the Design of VCU Used in Pure Electric Vehicles

摘要

Vehicle control unit (VCU) is the processing center of pure electric vehicle. With the increase of application, the safety design becomes the essential issue for VCU. According to the requirement of ISO 26262, VCU needed to be designed at least with ASIL C. The derivation of functional safety requirement for VCU poses a great challenge. In order to address the issue, this paper puts forward the technology of functional safety analysis, and designs the three layer architecture. The functional safety requirements are then derived for the architecture of VCU hardware and software.
