This paper aims to study dynamic behavior of Tunisian grid's stability of the grid in the absence and in the presence of solar energy by simulating a short-circuit (SC) fault on the Tunisian grid without solar energy and with a percentage of 30% of solar energy by varying its integration in different regions (north, center, south). In order to evaluate the stability of the grid, it is necessary to study its behavior as a result of the given disturbances. Thus, in this current paper, we evaluated the stability of the voltage in the different buses of the electrical power grid by simulating a short circuit in different buses in different Regions in Tunisia(Rades, Sousse, Kairouan, Tataouine) as Rades is located in North, Sousse and Kairouan are in the center and Tataouine is in south of Tunisia. We determinate the critical fault elimination times of all the buses of the studied utility grid. The dynamic modeling of solar energy using a wind Turbine (WT) “type 4” approach as well as the static and dynamic modeling of the all the grid components. Furthermore, a set of scenarios was carried in this study in order to determine the critical time of fault elimination using PSS?E simulation environment, from which, the obtained results are performed and analyzed.
